Programs offered by the KYBA

Kanata Youth Basketball Association (KYBA) is proud to offer a program option for all youth with the desire to play basketball, no matter what your goals are! 

Our House:League welcomes players of all experience levels, including beginners, at every age from 5-19! Our youngest players (ages 5-6/7) will find the introduction to the sport they need in our Tykes program, while our house league operates divisions for ages 7-19.  Become a Kanata Cavalier today by joining one of our house league programs! Our house league also offers a Selects program (All Stars) as an extension to a players house league commitment.

Those looking for a competitive experience, at a high level of play, should look to our Ottawa Next Level program.

For athletes who aspire to continue to play basketball at high level  after the high-school and are looking to prepare for post-secondary basketball experience - there is Center Of Excellence - ONL-X  program

KYBA also offers Spring 3on3 Programs, a fun Summer league,  Summer day camps, and a variety of skill sessions throughout the year.

The KYBA recognizes the importance of providing an opportunity to its players (current and former) and general members to learn another aspect of the game - officiating - through our Referee Program. Refereeing provides a great opportunity for young players to further improve their understanding of the game, but also to develop their leadership skills, decision making and management abilities.
